About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Technical Representative to join our team at Bechtel. As a Subcontract Technical Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by providing technical expertise and support to our subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to subcontractors on project-specific requirements and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Review and approve subcontractor submittals, including inspection and test plans, coatings application procedures, and product data sheets.
- Coordinate with project controls and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure quality of work performed.
- Identify and report any deviations from project requirements or safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical field engineering and/or subcontract coordination.
- Strong knowledge of DOE, DOD, and commercial nuclear construction projects.
- Working knowledge of Bechtel Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs) and related Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
