Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to lead our finance and accounting functions in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasts.
  • Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Manage cash flow, incorporating the cashflow forecast and ensure proper levels of liquidity.
  • Optimize working capital and manage banking relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
  • Oversee financial reporting and monthly reconciliation of construction projects and government assistance funds.
Requirements
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required and licensed CPA strongly preferred.
  • Public Accounting experience with Big4 firm strongly preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in accounting with 6 years in Supervisor or Manager capacity.
  • Proven time management, scheduling, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with government contracts and grants is a plus.
  • Experience with large ERP systems and advanced in Microsoft Office applications like Excel.
