About the Role

ACE Scholarships is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Development and Fundraising to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to raise significant funding from philanthropists, foundations, and corporations in Colorado and beyond.
  • Lead donor engagement activities, including identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer and National Staff to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Work closely with the program team to build long-term partnerships with local schools and relationships with ACE scholars and their families.
  • Guide the organization in responding to emerging issues related to public policy and public relations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Four or more years of significant nonprofit fundraising, sales, or business development experience, with a proven track record of success in achieving annual revenue goals.
  • Knowledge and passion for school choice, education reform, and serving the underserved.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, both in and out of state, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of K-12 education policy and reform efforts, including the private school sector.
  • Personal network of contacts, potential donor pools, and knowledge of the local business community.
What We Offer
  • A competitive annual salary of $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 and eligible for annual performance bonuses.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 6% employer match.
  • A monthly cellphone stipend and scholarships for employee's whose children are actively enrolled in a private school.
  • Onsite amenities, including a gym, café, and building security.
