Job Summary

The field-based role of Patient Access Leader is responsible for providing US coverage, coding, and payment expertise to support the Lantheus Holdings portfolio. As the primary contact for all patient access related inquiries, this individual will ensure seamless and timely access and reimbursement for prescribed Lantheus products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate customers on Lantheus Link services and offerings.
  • Support all Lantheus Link patient referrals from submission to therapy completion.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to prevent and address access and reimbursement issues.
  • Provide proactive education, reimbursement support, and problem-solving strategies to identified customers in defined geographical territories.
  • Provide expertise on coding, coverage, and reimbursement/payment mechanisms to Sales, Marketing, and other functional areas.
  • Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities by focusing on appropriate positioning and messaging of Lantheus products within targeted payer and customer segments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and prescribing offices, imaging centers, and hospitals to manage and coordinate resolution of reimbursement issues.
  • Partner cross-functionally to build sustainable collaborations for health systems against shared priorities/common interests to deliver long-term value and drive portfolio growth.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; advance degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of coverage, coding, payment, and policy experience.
  • Preferred experience working in a hub model.
  • Preferred patient services reimbursement experience.
  • Preferred experience specifically in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the US payer market, experience with both commercial and public payers, and understands the decision-making process for new treatments and imaging agents within the payer community.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional working environment.
  • Successful decision-making, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic impact in defining and executing complex customer experience roadmaps while driving for innovative results.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop credible relationships at high levels within accounts.
  • Possesses strong business acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Field-based role; must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and organize own work without continuous direct supervision.
  • Ability to travel (60%+).
