About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Home Care Services Coordinator to join our team at Presbyterian Homes & Services. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides in Assisted Living, assisting with hiring, data entry office support, and coordinating billing for home care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the onboarding process of new Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Coordinate the orientation of Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides, providing them with the necessary tools and information to excel in their positions.
  • Develop and implement Resident Assistant work schedules that meet resident care needs and financial goals, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficiency.
  • Communicate performance concerns, educational needs, and development opportunities to supervisors in a timely manner, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide input to performance evaluations of Resident Assistants and/or Resident Aides, helping to identify areas for growth and development.
  • Implement established staffing patterns and schedules, ensuring that resident care needs are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve on-call for staffing needs as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
  • Maintain accurate staffing documentation, including attendance tracking and statistical data, to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Provide clerical support for the Home Care function, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and efficient communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and complete home care billing for services provided to residents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain inventory, billing, and distribution of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary resources are available to support resident care.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely payroll information for the clinical function, ensuring that all team members are compensated fairly and in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to work well with and coordinate the work of others.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including word processing and other computer experience, to effectively manage data and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies, including a commitment to providing exceptional care and service to residents and their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate effectively with all customers and stakeholders.
