The position requires an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional who will interact with the Company's internal management and external customers.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Monitor and manage aging reports, ensuring timely collections.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with customer accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving billing issues in a timely manner.
- Validate incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Evaluate customer credit, working with the sales team to mitigate risk.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the accounts receivable processes.
- Serve as backup to the Accountant as needed by performing general accounting duties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
- Very detail-oriented and strong organization skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
