Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AP/Payroll Specialist to join our team at Nelson Exteriors. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for processing company payroll, tracking job costs, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, including calculating overtime, deductions, and bonuses
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
  • Reconcile accounts with the accountant and resolve any discrepancies
  • Work with other departments to verify and record transactions
  • Prepare and execute pay-orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Address payroll-related issues and questions from employees and management
  • Perform weekly job costing and facilitate insurance audits

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an AP/Payroll Specialist or Payroll Manager
  • Google Suite proficiency
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team and knowledge of payroll software
  • Knowledge of payroll, garnishments, and benefits distribution
