Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Southernmost Beach Resort. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources with various HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer insurance benefits, explain benefits, and assist with enrollment forms.
  • Enter payroll information, conduct prescreening interviews, and respond to unemployment claims.
  • Maintain new hire, termination, and transfer logs, as well as audit hours worked for benefits eligibility.
  • Compile wage surveys, monitor Leave of Absence logs, and process employee requests for complimentary room nights.
  • Prepare and place recruitment advertising, process terminating employee paperwork, and schedule Orientation.
  • Assist with special projects, plan employee events, and maintain employee housing as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a hotel or related industry.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility required.
  • College course work in a related field helpful.
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws are helpful.
