Job Title: Manager Human Resources

Family Church is a dynamic and growing network of neighborhood churches and schools in South Florida. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Human Resources to join our enthusiastic team.

Job Summary:

The Manager Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to the Director Human Resources, providing expertise in HR administration, employee relations, and organizational development. This role will be responsible for managing the workload of Human Resources staff, overseeing recruiting, hiring, and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal legislation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Human Resources team, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of HR services.
  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process for assigned business groups, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including background checks and employee data management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational performance.
  • Provide leadership and counsel to staff in dealing with performance, attitude, and work-ethics issues.
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including open enrollment, vendor management, and invoicing.
  • Oversee various staff training opportunities, including webinars, live instruction, and online instruction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources administration or a related field.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with leadership, peers, and general staff.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel.
  • Experience in employee data, HR systems, compliance, employee benefits, payroll, time and attendance, performance management, compensation planning, recruiting, and onboarding.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a master's degree preferred.
