About the Role

The University of Chicago is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Director of Credential Programs in the Student Recruitment and Global Outreach (SRGO) team. This is a key role that will play a critical part in the development and implementation of non-degree credential programs at the Harris School of Public Policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote credential programs and attract top talent.
  • Manage the full cycle of the Data and Policy Summer Scholar (DPSS) Program and other credential offerings, including business development, external client management, student recruitment, faculty communication, and student experience delivery.
  • Collaborate with degree-recruitment staff and other functional experts to design and implement credential programs' marketing operations, recruitment analytics, Slate operations, and other related student affairs responsibilities.
  • Manage a group of student workers and teaching assistants as needed.
  • Monitor enrollment and engagement via Slate and Tableau reports.
  • Engage and coordinate with program alumni for recruitment activities.
  • Recruit and/or evaluate applicants for admission by interviewing, reading applications, and summarizing evaluations.
  • Maintain relationships with all individuals involved in the recruitment process, including routinely counseling students and parents regarding the admission process.
Requirements
  • Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in a related field.
  • Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least 1-2 years of related program management experience in an educational setting.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with the University of Chicago or other peer institutions, and/or student-facing experiences.
