Housing and Homelessness Prevention Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Housing and Homelessness Prevention Services (H&HPS) Program. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the H&HPS team, assist with various clerical tasks, and provide excellent customer service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the H&HPS team, including preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents.
- Assist with outreach activities, providing information to the community about programs and resources available.
- Support the maintenance of accurate participant files and inventory management of supplies.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Requirements and Expectations:
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably as an Administrative Assistant; non-profit experience is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal communication forms.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and assist with other team members' projects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Demands:
- The role involves sitting (50%), walking (25%), and standing (25%) for extended periods.
- Ability to use hands and fingers for typing and handling objects.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds may be required.
- Excellent vision and communication skills are essential.
Time Commitment and Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour
- Weekly Hours: Up to 10 hours per week
Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-time
Pay Rate: Hourly
Salary Range: $20 per hour
