  • Business Acumen Development: Build a comprehensive knowledge base to achieve operational excellence. Analyze financial reports to identify trends and root causes of issues. Coach store managers and associates to adopt best practices and develop a deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Area Manager to formulate a clear, data-driven strategy for competitive positioning and long-term profit growth. Translate strategies into actionable plans that are communicated effectively and executed systematically. Use performance metrics to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 4-7+ years of experience in the green industry, with a preference for experience in managing a nursery, irrigation, or landscape retail sales.
  • 4+ years of managerial experience, including leadership, conflict resolution, motivation, and team building.
  • 2+ years of P&L experience with a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with sales and operations planning processes and demand forecasting.
  • Expertise in inventory management.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Degree in Business/Management or equivalent experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
