About the Role:

The Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) position at Bon Secours is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients with mental health disorders. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and substance use disorders.
  • Assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote recovery and well-being.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Recent Behavioral Health experience (preferred, not required).
