Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Associates to enhance the Equinox experience at our premier locations. This role is ideal for candidates looking to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and evolving organization.

The Shop Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional and unparalleled customer experience to all visitors. This position involves taking direction from the Shop MOD regarding business strategies and action plans to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to all company policies and procedures. The Shop Associate also plays a key role in the timely and accurate execution of operational tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES & SERVICE:

• Achieve assigned monthly sales targets (individual contribution to overall store goals)

• Ensure an exceptional customer experience for all visitors to The Shop and Equinox

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

• Consistently uphold all loss prevention and inventory management policies

• Ensure understanding of all communication and training materials, assisting the Shop MOD with the timely and accurate completion of operational tasks

PRODUCT & PRESENTATION:

• Collaborate with the Shop MOD to ensure that The Shop reflects the company's brand standards, including merchandising and marketing execution, as well as adherence to dress code

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms

PROFESSIONAL DIMENSION:

• Build effective relationships and partnerships with colleagues, supervisors, and clients

• Stay informed about developments and general standards in other departments to foster camaraderie and team spirit

• Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures; embrace and support company initiatives

• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Ability to take direction

• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in retail

• Diligent and hardworking, demonstrating honesty and integrity

• Strong time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Willingness to adopt new techniques and ideas

• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of our unique retail environment
