Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at First Horizon Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized businesses, providing them with tailored financial solutions to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to drive loan and deposit growth through client portfolio, centers of influence, and other proactive measures.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of high-value and high-potential small business clients, determining strategy and focus for the small business department and region.
  • Provide expert advice on bank products and services, identifying opportunities to sell and present solutions to clients.
  • Work closely with other departments to fulfill cross-sell opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Act as a financial advisor, educating clients on financial strategies and matching their needs with appropriate products and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking relationship management or related business lending experience.
  • Knowledge of cash flow and business credit underwriting, with commercial credit training preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial, and economic concepts.
