Position Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at AmeriPharma, you will have the opportunity to engage in various roles including customer support, data management, billing, and traditional pharmacy responsibilities. Specific placement will be determined during the interview process.

Work Schedule

  • In-Person Position
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare prescription orders in a timely manner
  • Verify prescription details and dosages
  • Assist in completing orders and refills under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, including HIPAA compliance
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications Required

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician License
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in basic mathematics and analytical reasoning
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Positive attitude and optimistic outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
