About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our team at Booz Allen. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of software systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and implement software solutions using Java, C#, or Python, and big-data technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it is efficient, scalable, and secure.
  • Work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.
  • Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks, including Unit and E2E testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on back-end development.
  • Experience with programming languages, including JavaScript or Typescript, and a framework, including Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Experience with usability analysis or automated testing development.
  • Experience with switching between different languages and learning new ones.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain 8570 Compliance Security+ Certification within 6 months of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation or Jenkins.
  • Experience with software development against Cloud Services, including Azure or AWS.
  • Experience working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium.
  • Experience with command-line scripting.
  • Experience with using JavaScript visualization libraries, including D3, Leaflet, CytoscapeJS, and VizJS.
  • Knowledge of the data and tools associated with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT.
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
