The Operations Support Coordinator is an entry-level role dedicated to delivering operational assistance services. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining records and documentation, managing the storage and retrieval of files, overseeing account maintenance, and coordinating the opening of accounts in collaboration with the Operations - Core Team. The Operations Support Coordinator also acts as a key link between operations personnel, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients. The primary aim of this position is to ensure seamless daily operational support in accordance with Citi's operational framework and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer inquiries and manage escalated issues, ensuring high-quality customer service for Citi's clientele.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for value-added products and services while complying with the stringent regulations governing Telesales.
  • Engage with management daily regarding productivity, quality, availability, and Management Information System (MIS) metrics, while providing written and verbal communications to relevant business areas for the approval of accurate financial entries and the resolution of discrepancies.
  • Facilitate training sessions based on departmental needs and assist in addressing staff inquiries related to Disputes as necessary.
  • Support a wide range of products and services.
  • Contribute to ongoing Lean initiatives and process enhancement projects.
  • Resolve intricate issues by applying best practices and precedents, escalating when necessary.
  • Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to company policies, and exercising sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of transaction processing.
  • Ability to work independently and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends to support critical testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and mathematical proficiency.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
