Key Responsibilities

As the VP of Culinary Operations at Ennismore, you will oversee the development and implementation of food and beverage strategies across the Americas region. This includes managing existing operations, deploying expertise to areas in need, and leading the development and opening of new food and beverage concepts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing food and beverage operations across the Ennismore portfolio in the Americas region
  • Deploying expertise to food and beverage operations in need
  • Leading the development and opening of new food and beverage operations, including menu development, design, implementation, feasibility, and budgeting
  • Collaborating with the development team and Ennismore's in-house F&B studio, Carte Blanched, on the planning and execution of new property openings, new concepts, and capital expenditures
  • Ensuring high standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction across all outlets
  • Implementing best practices and innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for expansion and growth in the region
  • Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for food and beverage operations
  • Analyzing financial performance, implementing cost-control measures, and driving revenue growth
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to property-level food and beverage teams, driving a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability
  • Taking an active role in growing the talent pool for existing operations as well as future expansion
  • Developing and implementing training programs as needed to ensure consistent standards and practices
  • Managing regional F&B leadership teams, setting clear objectives and performance metrics
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, third-party operators, external partners, vendors, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years' experience as a senior leader in food and beverage operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Strong track record in multi-property and multi-outlet management and development
  • Extensive experience in overseeing large-scale food and beverage operations ranging from stand-alone restaurants to all-inclusive resorts
  • Knowledge and understanding of pre-opening processes, and ability to ramp up hotels across the region
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and revenue generation
  • Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English
  • Able to make people feel good, with a positive impact on the team, guests, and colleagues
  • Excellent relationship builder, with the ability to work with other teams and leaders
  • Able to take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions
  • Humble and open to ideas, with a willingness to try new things
  • Up for doing things differently and trying new approaches
