Job Summary:
As a Fitness Operations Associate on our night shift team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting members, handling front desk activities, facilitating account updates, and maintaining a clean and organized club environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Handle all front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, new member sign-ups, and tours.
  • Facilitate needed updates to member accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
  • Close shifts for business days and create bank deposits for the next day.

Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in customer service, basic computer proficiency, a passion for fitness and health, and an upbeat and positive attitude. You must also be punctual, reliable, and able to interact positively with members and coworkers. Additionally, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. We are looking for someone who is a strong listener, able to empathize and problem-solve, and demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions.

Physical Demands:
This role requires continual standing and walking during shifts, as well as ability to work third shift (overnights). You may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and encounter toxic chemicals during your shift.
