Job Title: Ethics and Compliance Specialist

The Trauma Academy Northwest, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Ethics and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our organization operates within legal and ethical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Compliance Programs: Design, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Conduct Compliance Audits and Risk Assessments: Regularly conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on ethics and compliance matters, and provide guidance on ethical issues as needed.
  • Investigate and Address Compliance Violations: Investigate and address compliance violations and ethical concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Changes: Monitor and stay current with regulatory changes and ensure our organization remains compliant.
  • Ensure Data Protection: Monitor and enforce compliance with data protection regulations to protect sensitive information.
  • Prepare and Present Reports: Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to a Strong Ethical Culture: Contribute to the development of a strong ethical culture within our organization by promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
  • Collaborate with External Auditors: Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in compliance, ethics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to Handle Confidential Information: Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Certification in Ethics and Compliance: Certification in ethics and compliance (e.g., CCEP) is preferred.
  • Experience in Investigations and Compliance: Experience in conducting investigations and resolving compliance issues.
  • Ability to Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Ability to develop and deliver compliance training programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Compliance Software: Proficiency in MS Office and compliance software to effectively manage compliance programs.
  • Strong Multitasking and Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask and stay organized to manage multiple compliance programs and projects.
