Job Description:

Position Title: Sexual Conduct Investigations Manager

Classification: Compliance and Regulatory Manager

Salary: $6,257 - $9,677 ($6,690 - $10,350 PERS member monthly salary)

Representation: Management Service Supervisory (MMS)

Position Type: Permanent

Time Type: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Sexual Conduct Investigations program. As a key member of our Government and Legal Affairs team, you will be responsible for ensuring fairness and justice in our educational institutions.

This role is hybrid, with a mix of remote and in-office work. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to promoting equity and excellence in education. Our team collaborates with various partners to support the education mission of the State Board of Education and the Governor's priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the agency's work on sexual conduct investigations involving non-licensed school personnel, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and administrative rules related to sexual conduct involving non-licensed school personnel, contractors, and volunteers.
  • Supervise a staff of 9 team members.
  • Manage the agency's sexual misconduct verification system (SMVS).

Requirements:

  • Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience in conducting investigations.
  • OR Two years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Law, Finance, or a related field.
