Position Summary: The Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operational activities, functioning similarly to a central operations coordinator. This position is responsible for managing communication channels among contractor personnel and relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a central operations hub within the designated workspace.
Qualifications:
- An associate's degree or certification in a field pertinent to visitor management at large public venues, such as national parks or similar facilities. Relevant fields include communications, business administration, or operations; or
- Two years of post-secondary education combined with two years of relevant professional experience in a large public setting or government facility; or
- Five years of applicable experience along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Security Clearance:
- Public Trust or Secret clearance is required.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to effectively fulfill contract requirements.
- Possess necessary state motor vehicle licenses or certifications for operating equipment and vehicles related to the contract.
Physical Requirements: This role necessitates prolonged periods of sitting and stationary work.
Communication Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, both via telephone and in-person interactions, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
