Job Summary

Aegis Corps is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide critical support to our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Collect, process, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, adhering to industry-standard file storage and structure methodologies.
  • Correspondence Management: Review, screen, control, and maintain records of incoming correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Document Preparation: Edit and produce final copies of formal correspondence, summaries, briefings, and reports, adhering to style, format, and procedural requirements.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in preparation of briefing charts, presentation materials, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Office Management: Establish and maintain office files, databases, and electronic data files, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Visitor Arrangements: Coordinate official visitor arrangements and oversee all office administrative functions.
  • Procedure Development: Draft and maintain administrative procedures, including contact lists and shared calendars.
  • Communication: Interface with internal and external support services, including organizational points of contact.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Attitude and Appearance: Pleasant, tactful, and professional attitude and appearance, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clearance: Must be a US citizen, with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance preferred.
