Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Vice President of Medical Operations to join our team at LifeLong Medical Care. In this role, you will provide leadership and operational oversight of health centers, programs, and cross-site initiatives. You will support the Vice President of Medical Operations and the operations management team by providing strategic guidance and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight of health centers, programs, and cross-site initiatives.
  • Support the Vice President of Medical Operations and the operations management team by providing strategic guidance and operational expertise.
  • Manage Health Center Directors and other managers to ensure standard procedures and operations are being executed efficiently for optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on and lead departmental and organization-wide projects and initiatives related to primary care.
  • Represent the VP and Medical Operations department to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clinician and management teams.
  • Inspire employee engagement across the organization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of management experience in an outpatient or related healthcare setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to facilitate understanding across multiple audiences.
  • Flexibility and strong project leadership skills with the ability to drive large, cross-functional programs to meet strategic and tactical goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
  • Access to reliable transportation with current insurance to allow travel among all health center and program sites.
  • Experience supervising diverse staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Community Health, FQHC experience in a similar role.
  • Master's degree in healthcare management or related field preferred.
