Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with a minimum of six months of clinical experience or successful completion of the probationary NC I period as documented on the nursing evaluation tool. Must hold and maintain a valid Registered Nurse license or permit to practice in Texas. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Position Overview:

This role is designed for an Advanced Beginner Clinician who possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the nursing standards for professional practice as outlined in the Texas Nurse Practice Act, functioning without direct supervision. The clinician is expected to recognize when assistance is required and to seek appropriate resources accordingly. The practice is characterized by a blend of dependent and interdependent decision-making processes. The focus is on enhancing knowledge and skills within a specialized area of nursing.

The clinician will provide patient care through nursing-based practices in alignment with the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance. The role values the objectives of the specialty unit, nursing, and institutional strategic initiatives, as well as the overarching goals of the health system.

Compensation:

The actual salary will be commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with shifts lasting 12 hours.
