Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Systems Engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of configuration management practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of configuration analysts in the F-35 program
  • Develop and implement configuration management plans and processes
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and execution
  • Represent the Production CM team in program and customer meetings
  • Provide daily oversight and guidance to Production CM team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
  • 5 years of related experience or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience leading projects and teams
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Government contracts experience
  • Experience developing, evaluating, or auditing plans, processes, and procedures
  • Experience with Lean concepts and Root Cause Corrective Action
Benefits:

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $107,300 - $160,900, as well as a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
