Job Title: Sr. Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Principal Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Sector in Redondo Beach, California.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of emerging capabilities for our Strike Division programs, working closely with our architects and engineers to integrate multi-domain sensor data across major DOD weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical development and architecture of emerging capabilities for our Strike Division programs.
  • Collaborate with our architects and engineers to integrate multi-domain sensor data across major DOD weapon systems.
  • Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
  • Support new business and/or expand the product line with multiple Customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-domain C5ISRT data integration and analysis.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience integrating multi-domain sensor data across major DOD weapon systems.
  • Experienced leader who has successfully built and managed 2 or more teams.
  • Must have the demonstrated ability to handle multiple managerial and technical tasks simultaneously with a broad span of control.
  • Must be knowledgeable of financial and business concepts required to manage for attainment of business goals.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI and CI-Poly clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the military.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills leading a successful team to develop new technical capabilities.
  • Detailed working knowledge of government networks, architecture, and data flows.
  • Understanding of DOD & IC organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to create trusted relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across customers and programs.
  • Access to special projects.
What We Offer:

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 - $199,600, as well as a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
