Job Title: Principal / Sr. Principal Survivability Engineer (Level 3 or 4)

We are seeking highly skilled engineers to join our team at Northrop Grumman, a leading industry leader in Stealth Technology. As a Principal or Senior Principal Survivability Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge systems that reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate stealth technology into aircraft systems
  • Predict and verify the performance of designs using proprietary analysis codes
  • Optimize designs for stealth while meeting requirements of other engineering disciplines
  • Take responsibility for achieving customer goals and balancing designs in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and diverse assignments
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in stealth technology, design integration, product support, or antenna integration
  • Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance
  • Special Access Program (SAP) or Program Access Request (PAR) clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using classified cutting-edge technology to reduce detectability
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar codes
  • Complete understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and testing of complex targets
  • Working knowledge of requirements of other supporting engineering disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills

  • Competitive salary range: $104,600 - $157,000
