Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salon Manager Assistant to join our team at Great Clips. As a Salon Manager Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the salon manager in achieving business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the salon manager in overseeing daily salon operations, including scheduling, customer service, and team management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all clients.
  • Support the salon manager in developing and implementing business strategies to drive sales and growth.
  • Assist with training and development of salon team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and maintain salon inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the salon manager to create and implement marketing campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Assist with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Support the salon manager in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a salon or retail environment, with a focus on customer service and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid cosmetology or barber license required.
