Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our client's team in Chicago, IL.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing client accounts. As the primary point of contact for your clients, you will provide exceptional customer service and ensure their satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Sales Growth: Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing their needs proactively.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve client issues efficiently and effectively.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track key metrics and generate regular reports on account performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions for clients.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven track record in account management or sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the energy industry (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM and other relevant software tools.
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 per year, plus commission. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
