The Role

Headlands Research is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital part of our team.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for clinical trials and patient safety, demonstrate accountability and motivation to complete time-sensitive tasks ahead of schedule, and exhibit an exceptional attention to detail.


Type:
Full-time, fully benefitted

Schedule: 5x8-hour days per week

Clinic Hours:
Mondays through Fridays, during regular business hours

Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient consultations and provide education in an outpatient environment under the supervision of the physician overseeing the clinical trial.
• Perform study-related physical examinations and follow-up appointments.
• Review and comply with the assigned research study protocol.
• Collaborate with the study-leading physician in assessing and reviewing the eligibility of potential study participants.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure that all clinical activities are executed in accordance with established research protocols and standards, complying with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members.
• Analyze lab results, imaging reports, and other study-specific documentation.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Master's Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Texas is required.
• A minimum of one full year of experience as an advanced provider is necessary.
• Previous experience in the clinical research field is preferred.
• Hands-on patient care experience is also preferred.
