Position Overview:


Texas Oncology is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse (RN) to support our oncology clinical research initiatives. This full-time role is designed for professionals who are passionate about advancing cancer care through innovative research.

This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance with no weekend or holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
1. Collaborate with physicians to identify and evaluate potential candidates for clinical trials.
2. Present trial information and facilitate the informed consent process with oncology patients.
3. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and changes in their health status.
4. Educate staff and patients on the management and administration of investigational treatments.
5. Ensure precise and timely documentation and data entry to comply with trial protocols.
6. Act as a liaison among clinic departments to guarantee proper execution of clinical trials.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Clinical Research Nurse (RN) position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required (BSN preferred).
2. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
3. Valid BLS or ACLS certification is mandatory.
4. A minimum of 3 years of RN experience is required, preferably in oncology.
5. OCN certification is strongly preferred.
6. CCRC or CCRP certification is advantageous.
