The Role

Headlands Research is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for clinical trials and patient safety, demonstrate accountability and motivation to complete time-sensitive tasks promptly, and exhibit exceptional attention to detail.


Type:
Full-time, fully benefitted

Schedule: 5x8-hour days per week

Clinic Hours:
Monday through Friday, during regular business hours

Responsibilities

  • Conducts patient consultations and provides education in an outpatient environment under the supervision of the leading physician for the clinical trial
  • Performs study-related physical examinations and follow-up appointments
  • Reviews and adheres to the designated research study protocol
  • Collaborates with the study-leading physician in assessing and reviewing potential study participants' eligibility
  • Maintains accurate documentation
  • Ensures that all clinical activities are executed in accordance with established research protocols and standards, complying with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
  • Works alongside multidisciplinary team members
  • Analyzes lab results, imaging reports, and other study-specific documentation
Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Master's Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of Texas is required
  • Minimum of one full year of experience as an advanced provider
  • Previous experience in the clinical research sector is preferred
  • Prior experience with direct patient care is advantageous
