The Senior Financial Analyst's key duties encompass assisting in the formulation and assembly of the consolidated budget and reforecast for multiple divisions.

Generate monthly and quarterly KPI and management reports. Analyze variances against expense plans and provide thorough assessments of results. Prepare and report on essential metrics such as ROI, BEP, start rates, and other vital indicators.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of ongoing monthly budgets and reforecasts for various divisions, delivering in-depth insights into variances to guide leadership and support strategic decisions.

Aid in the evaluation and modifications to the financial plan.

Conduct ROI assessments for organizational initiatives to evaluate alignment with specific objectives and provide updates and variance analysis as required.

Deliver dependable reports and insights to facilitate decision-making and offer recommendations based on anticipated ROI outcomes against targets.
Craft PowerPoint presentations that effectively balance high-level insights for executives with detailed information for core teams.
Design and execute statistical analyses for established company KPIs. Support the preparation of month-end reporting and quarterly materials for the Board of Directors and external stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with business partners, technology, and modeling teams to assess new and alternative data sources, as well as analytical tools.

Engage with other departments including Finance, Accounting, and Legal, providing assistance in developing business plans for new program launches.

Systematically document the historical database of company financials and KPIs in an organized manner, managing archives for easy data access.

Identify areas for expense optimization and propose necessary adjustments.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Experience

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing is required (consideration may be given to related fields or equivalent work experience with demonstrated capability).

A degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, economics, mathematics, accounting, or finance is preferred.
A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in financial analysis is required.

At least one to three years of experience in a statistical and/or accounting environment with progressively responsible experience in general ledger and P&L reporting is preferred.

Strong understanding of fundamental accounting processes and accruals.
Skills
Strong business and financial acumen:
Proficient in business analytics, P&L structure, and the ability to plan, track, and evaluate trade management.
Excellent verbal and presentation skills to convey complex information.
Ability to recommend solutions based on information gathered and analyzed from existing systems and/or incomplete data.
Experience in data analysis and visualization.
Experience in a cross-functional work environment.
Comprehensive understanding of overall business processes and procedures.
Strong technical report-building skills.
Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Hyperion, and Peoplesoft or equivalent experience – Access/SQL knowledge is a plus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Effective troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Abilities
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds or less 5% of the workday.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday.
Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason throughout the workday.
Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for extended periods throughout the workday.
Must be able to use a keyboard and perform manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
Willingness to travel overnight approximately 5% of the time.
