As a Physical Scientist, you will play a critical role in applying mathematical formulas and principles to technological problems in engineering and physical sciences.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply standardized mathematical formulas and principles to technological problems in engineering and physical sciences.
- Provide scientific subject matter expertise to inform S&T investment decisions, technology maturation, and transition readiness.
- Perform cross-discipline technology scouting activities to identify existing and emerging technologies that correspond to customer needs.
- Conduct research, analyses, or experiments in laboratories for quality or process control, or to develop new products or knowledge.
- Exercise a high degree of originality and sound judgement in formulating, evaluating, and correlating broad engineering/scientific concepts.
- MA/MS Degree in a physical science field (Including Physics, Atmosphere and Space, Chemistry, and Materials).
- Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years additional work experience relevant to labor category's functional description may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
- Over ten (10) years' experience performing work related to Physical Science.
