Job Summary

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is seeking a highly skilled Microelectronics Research Scientist to join its Directorate of Science and Technology. As a key member of a technical team, you will apply scientific and engineering expertise to deliver new solutions in support of the CIA's mission to collect foreign intelligence.

About the Role

As a Microelectronics Research Scientist, you will combine specialized technical knowledge and skills across disciplines to design, steer, and participate in the work of collaborative teams. Your work will be realized by leveraging advancements in microelectronics with an emphasis on developing novel capabilities and providing technical insights on the nation's most difficult national security challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement research programs to advance microelectronics technology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new microelectronics solutions
• Conduct research and analysis to identify and address technical challenges
• Develop and maintain technical expertise in microelectronics and related fields
• Participate in the development of technical plans and strategies

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• At least 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
• Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
