Job Title: Principal RF Engineer and Scientist

Envisioneering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal RF Engineer and Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's scientific leadership in support of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply broad experience in research and development of RF spectrum technologies to solve pressing problems in defense of naval forces.
  • Work closely with government scientists and engineers to advance existing R&D projects, investigate, and propose novel solutions related to the application of RF energy to electronic warfare, countermeasures, and directed energy for the U.S. Navy.
  • Assess studies and phenomenology and translate technical solutions into proof-of-concept approaches leading to the development and testing of prototype systems in both laboratory and field environments.
Requirements:
  • 20+ years of experience in a physics or engineering field (15+ with PhD).
  • Experience in Design, Development, and Implementation of EW Systems or high-power microwave systems for DoD Applications.
  • Experience with DoD research and development and intelligence organizations in directed energy weapons or RF countermeasure technology.
  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing concepts and communication technologies.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with RF measurements and writing associated test plans.
  • Must have a Top-Secret Clearance.
Education:
  • Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Physics or Engineering discipline.
