Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Chapter Leader, Infrastructure Engineering to join our Digital Platform & Infrastructure Technology department. As a key member of our team, you'll lead the development of innovative capabilities and implement processes that align with organizational goals, drive performance, and assure quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the right standards: Define expected practices & guardrails and chapter member technical output based on industry best practices.
  • Develop the right skills: Map expected competencies & certifications, design career path including performance expectations and promotion criteria, partner with Learning and Development teams to design targeted training, and ensure personal and professional well-being of your team.
  • Deliver the right capacity: Track supply of and aggregate demand for Chapter resources, collaborate with executive leadership to ensure Chapter members are allocated to the most impactful Teams unlocking business value, collaborate with other Chapter Leads to facilitate career moves across Chapters for career growth & cross-training, and develop a recruiting strategy for Chapter members and participate in recruiting process by making final hiring recommendations.
  • Manage / deliver for internal and external stakeholders: Demonstrate subject matter expertise in all areas of development and innovation in Chapter domain, ensure Platform Leads and other stakeholders know what resources and knowledge are available to them, and collaborate with executive leadership to ensure Chapter members are allocated to the most impactful teams.
About You

We're looking for a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, or a BS/BA degree or higher in a technical discipline. You'll have experience in strategic technology leadership, IT infrastructure, analytics, and outsourcing management, as well as experience leading, coaching, and developing people and teams. You'll also have experience with resource planning and allocation within and across organizations.

You'll have depth and breadth across the infrastructure engineering domains, including cloud & data center, data networking, and end user. You'll be an expert in x86 and AIX Operating systems, knowledge of micro segmentation across both physical and virtual environments, and experience with ServiceNow in configuring workflows, and integrating with other systems. You'll also have skills in automating infrastructure using Terraform, VMware Aria automation, PowerShell, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

You'll understand infrastructure engineering best practices, design to operate principles, and product lifecycle management, and have experience working in Agile methodologies - SAFE, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
