Job Summary

The Senior Analyst position supports PSEG Long Island's Centralized Work Planning and Scheduling Team through leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data-driven enhancements in process, technology, and organization. This role provides technical, analytical, and functional expertise to support all Work Planning and Scheduling activities across Transmission and Distribution (T&D) and supporting areas through the utilization of systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of the mid and long-term T&D integrated work plan, and the long-term workforce model
  • Develop and present pertinent work management performance information to leadership within the operating areas, identifying and escalating areas of low performance or opportunities for enhanced performance
  • Discover, develop, and implement new processes and technologies used for work management and work planning
  • Provide technical/analytical expertise and functional support in the areas of work planning and work management
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer/Data Science, or Engineering, or 8 years of analytical experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. The candidate should also have the ability to lead in the development, documentation, and implementation of process, technology, and organizational improvements, as well as work effectively across departmental boundaries. Knowledge of monthly reporting processes, financial, and/or work management is also necessary. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. A valid U.S. driver's license and a safe driving record are also required.
