Job Summary

The District Sales Manager (DSM) role is a critical position within Sysco, responsible for driving sales performance among Sales Consultants (SCs) in the Mandarin District. This individual will lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, training, and direction to achieve profitable sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance and development of Sales Consultants (SCs) within the district, conducting regular coaching sessions and providing feedback to improve sales skills and knowledge.
  • Lead and facilitate district meetings, educating and inspiring sales teams to drive sales performance and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow and diversify customer relationships, leveraging Sysco's proprietary CRM tool and sales support resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to optimize sales performance.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sales leadership or management, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, train, and direct sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines to achieve sales goals.
  • Proficiency in Sysco's proprietary CRM tool and sales support resources.
