Senior Automotive Technician

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for our clients.
  • Continuously enhance skills as an automotive technician across a diverse range of domestic and international vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough, accurate, and transparent vehicle inspections.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to address client concerns promptly.
  • Uphold and advocate for our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Engage closely with the service department to communicate client issues effectively.
  • Work alongside fellow technicians to resolve challenges, meet deadlines, and achieve exceptional results.

Qualifications:
  • Master Certified L1 or equivalent certification required.
  • Extensive experience in drivability and diagnostic techniques.
  • Proficient in electrical systems across all vehicle makes and models.
  • A minimum of 20 years of professional experience as an automotive technician is essential.
  • Willingness to mentor and train junior team members.
  • Possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to serve clients.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models.
  • Meet or exceed productivity goals.
  • Aptitude for acquiring new skills and processes.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit strong communication skills.
  • A commitment to long-term career growth within the organization.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Capable of working with tools on vehicles elevated above head level.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
  • Demonstrate the dexterity needed to effectively use hand tools.
  • Stand or walk for the majority of the workday.
  • Drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
  • Proficiently navigate computer systems.
