Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate work assignments among technicians to optimize workflow.
- Oversee individual technician workloads and service area efficiency.
- Guide technicians through internal training programs and prepare them for certification.
- Mentor and train new team members to enhance their skills.
- Assist technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations to track career development and performance metrics.
- Foster team-building initiatives to strengthen technician collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and quality benchmarks in troubleshooting customer concerns.
- Manage inventory of shop supplies and maintain equipment standards.
- Monitor fluid levels and overall shop efficiency through reporting systems.
- Oversee the maintenance of safety and cleanliness standards within the shop.
- Facilitate effective communication between the service department and customers regarding their concerns.
- Master Certified L1 or equivalent certification is required.
- Extensive experience in drivability and diagnostic techniques.
- Proficient in electrical systems across various vehicle makes and models.
- A minimum of 10 years as an automotive technician, with 20 years preferred.
- Willingness to support and mentor fellow technicians.
- Positive demeanor with a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles.
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
- Aspirations for long-term career growth.
- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 pounds occasionally.
- Capable of working with tools in elevated positions.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to effectively use hand tools.

- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Skilled in navigating computer systems efficiently.
