About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Multimedia Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team at Hearst Television. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling advertising to local businesses and negotiating impressions and rates with ad agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Produce revenue across all available platforms, including television and web.
  • Business Development: Prospect, contact, and present to new businesses to develop new revenue streams.
  • Account Management: Manage an active account/client list and develop strategic partnerships with local businesses.
  • Sales Strategy: Conceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that align with station strategies and achieve individual sales goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years in media or digital sales, or a similar sales field.
  • Business Development: Experience with the development of new business and non-traditional business opportunities.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills and ability to work in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere.
  • Accountability: Accountability within a goal-structured organization and ability to work as a team player.
  • Sales Skills: Experience selling to business owners and understanding of qualitative research to further sales efforts.
