About the Role

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support to the plant Human Resources department. This role will focus on recruitment, policy administration, training, and various administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine information and assistance to employees, utilizing knowledge of established departmental procedures and familiarity with operations and programs within human resources.
  • Offer necessary resources to empower employees with knowledge and materials needed, including FMLA, LOA, ADA, and Workday resources.
  • Process human resource documentation for employees, ensuring I-9 compliance.
  • Schedule meetings and training as requested by HR and/or Operations partners.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence as needed.
  • Monitor facility time and attendance, initiating corrective action as necessary.
  • Assist and/or facilitate orientation, including training documentation.
  • Perform exit interviews and compile feedback.
  • Complete special assignments and projects as required.
  • Serve as a visible business partner, regularly visiting the production floor to engage employees at all levels.
  • Assist in HR-related compliance audits, including SMETA/SWA.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience being organized, flexible, and multi-task oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization and manage-up effectively.
  • Solid understanding of Human Resources functions and requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Previous Workday/HCM system experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
