Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Coordinator to join our team at Advancing CT Together. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing weekly accounts payable invoices, coding entries to appropriate expense accounts, and maintaining accounts payables records.

The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree in accounting or two years of accounting experience, proficiency with Excel and accounting software, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing weekly accounts payable invoices and checks
  • Coding entries to appropriate expense accounts, cost centers, and funding sources
  • Maintaining accounts payables records, including verification of EINs with IRS
  • Recording weekly receipts and making bank deposits and intra-bank transfers
  • Assisting with financial reporting and maintaining records of expenditures

Salary Estimate: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
