Your Role as an Insurance Customer Service Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in addressing customer inquiries and providing innovative solutions. In a collaborative and dynamic environment, you will engage with diverse individuals, ensuring that each day presents new challenges and opportunities for growth.

Your Responsibilities

In your role, you will focus on effectively addressing a variety of customer questions, concerns, and issues:

  • Manage and respond to all inbound and outbound customer inquiries with care
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through attentive listening
  • Handle confidential customer information with sensitivity
  • Aim to resolve issues on the first contact by being proactive, patient, and empathetic
  • Communicate effectively with customers, exercising retention strategies when necessary
  • Assist customers in comparing options and understanding contract terms
  • Compassionately address sensitive situations related to healthcare needs and planning

  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team setting
  • Preferred experience in customer service (6 months)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Typing speed of 25 wpm
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable using desktop computer systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in navigating Windows operating systems
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
  • Possession of an active home state Property & Casualty License
