Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist

UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing leadership and technical expertise for our Point of Care Testing (POCT) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support for POCT, including coordination of quality control and proficiency activities.
- Perform training and competency on testing personnel.
- Validate new analyzers and tests.
- Write policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of four years of clinical laboratory scientist experience.
- Proven experience in training and lecturing.
- Experience writing procedures and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam.
- Experience in Point of Care Testing, highly preferred.

- Competitive salary range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour.
