Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist for Point of Care Testing

At the University of California, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist to lead our Point of Care Testing program in Ambulatory areas. As a key member of our team, you'll provide technical expertise and leadership to ensure the highest quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support for Point of Care Testing, including quality control and proficiency activities
- Train and competency test personnel on testing procedures
- Validate new analyzers and tests, and develop policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of clinical laboratory scientist experience
- Experience in Point of Care Testing and training/lecturing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to travel between clinics within Los Angeles
- Pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam
Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour
