Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist

UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist to lead our Point of Care Testing (POCT) program in Ambulatory areas. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise, leadership, and support to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and technical expertise for the POCT program
- Coordinate quality control and proficiency activities
- Train and competency test testing personnel
- Validate new analyzers and tests
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of clinical laboratory scientist experience
- Experience in Point of Care Testing
- Proven experience in training and lecturing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to travel between clinics within Los Angeles
- Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam
